Education

One of our primary focuses at DSS @ Berkeley is to help students build fundamental data science skills. Our initiatives are for all students no matter their skill levels. We have two main methods through which we help teach Data Science:

Academic Workshops: Our workshops hosted by our Academic Development Committee are modules aimed at helping build basic to intermediate skills in several popular Data Science tools. In the past, we have had workshops in R, SQL, Excel, and Tableau. As always, our workshops are open to all UC Berkeley students.
